In less than a week our church will be up on the boardwalk at Seaside Heights to share God’s Word with the people there. What a blessing it is each summer for us to be able to share the love of Christ with the people who come to the Jersey Shore for relaxation and fun.
We gather on Wednesday nights from 6-8 pm at the Grant Avenue Boardwalk, the South Entrance to the Casino Pier. Remember to wear your church t-shirt.
On the boardwalk we give away FREE Bibles and OPC brochures to anyone who would like them. Our church brochure, Christ Proclaims a Better Waygives everyone a clear Gospel message, and information about the church.
Evangelism according to Scripture is in the context of the body of Christ corporately. Therefore, we are attempting to make disciples, and our brochure has contact information for our local church and how to contact our denomination to find a church for those who are not in our area.
In giving out Bibles to those who are interested, we are getting God’s Word into people’s hands, and we pray that God would use His Word to draw people to Himself.
We also share live Christian music, which extols the blessings of God, lifts the heart and encourages others.
If you are planning on joining us on Wednesday nights, please let me know so that I can keep you informed if we need to cancel due to weather. And if you are unable to join us please keep us in prayer as we reach out in an effort to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
